Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are nearly invisible trays that are custom-created for each patient according to Dr. Error’s specifications. As you wear them, they apply gentle pressure to gradually reposition teeth. Aligners can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing, but should be worn for at least 22 hours a day to achieve the desired results!
Children and Adults
Orthodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry that focuses on correcting teeth and jaw irregularities in both children and adults. For children, early orthodontic intervention, recommended by age 7. However, adults can also benefit significantly from orthodontic treatment, using advanced options like clear aligners and ceramic braces for discreet and effective smile correction.
Traditional Braces
Fixed metal, or traditional braces, use a combination of brackets and wires affixed to your teeth. These put a gentle, continuous pressure on your teeth to gradually move them into their correct position over time.
Tooth-colored, or ceramic brackets, offer the same benefits of metal braces but can blend in for professionals or those looking for a more discreet option.
Phase 1 Orthodontics
Also known as early interceptive treatment, phase 1 orthodontics is an early treatment plan for children who have a mix of baby and permanent teeth, usually between ages 7–10. The goal of this treatment is to normalize jaw growth and development, create space for incoming adult teeth that may otherwise get impacted or stuck in the jaws without intervention, and correct significant bite problems ideally treated at a younger age. This will often times reduce the need for more complex treatment down the road.
Recent studies show that in some individuals, early intervention orthodontics can even improve airway function—a vital step to improving some sleeping, and mood disorders.
Rock Orthodontics Kid’s Club/Early check-ups
AAO experts recommend children see an orthodontist by age 7. At this age jaws are still developing and adult teeth are starting to emerge, making it an ideal time to identify any orthodontic problems. Often the most complex orthodontic problems can be lessened or even prevented if caught at an early age.
Even if no treatment is recommended at this time, Dr Error can help create an orthodontic plan for your child to identify the ideal time to start treatment—all at no cost to you!
Adult Orthodontics
1 in 3 orthodontic patients today are adults! It’s never too late to achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. Shifting teeth in adulthood can cause several issues impacting oral health and confidence. Whether it’s cosmetic or health-driven, orthodontic treatment ensures both aesthetic and functional improvements, and provides confidence that lasts a lifetime.
